“Peace”, the mixtape’s debut single builds itself upon a mix of Chris Rockaway’s scratchy guitars and rolling bass from André 3000’s opening from OutKast’s “Return Of The G” for its hard hitting chorus. “Everytime I get a peace of mind/A n-gga try to get a piece of mine/So I gotta grab my piece/It’ll be blood in the streets”. Express laments on the track itself, “Initially it was called war and peace. Peace is really a war in the mind to hold on to sanity amongst all this chaos.”
